Some of my favorite things this month...
1. Uniqlo Heattech
Why I recommend Uniqlo Heattech...
Anyone else here freezing when it's below 70 degrees?
This is something I have dealt with for years - I'm always cold. Funny for a person who grew up in freezing Chicago. But, what that combo really means is that I have become an expert on how to stay warm, and pack warmly, no matter where I am.
One of my key recommendations: Heattech
There are multiple companies that have rolled out different garments that are thin, but extremely warm. My go-to is Uniqlo Heattech. They have thin sweaters, long sleeved shirts, leggings, socks - everything you need to stay warm on a chilly day or night out. These thin shirts are perfect neutral pieces to pack for travel. I roll them up to the size of a candy bar, and wear them under sweaters and shirts when I need that extra layer to stay cozy. Costco also sells some great heattech!
Here winter comes!

2. OLLY Goodbye Stress Gummies
Why I recommend OLLY Goodbye Stress Gummies...
Saying I have been a little stressed the past few months might be the understatement of the century. Like many others, I have been learning new ways to tend to my mental health. Stretching, fresh air, tea. But I have also been loving these Goodbye Stress gummies made by OLLY.
Sure, it may not work for everyone, but I truly think it helps my nerves (even if it is a placebo effect). I take two in the morning to start my day, and similar to CBD, it simply takes a little edge off! Just a recommendation for those who are looking for little de-stressors like me. If you have any other recs - let me know!

They are also sold at most grocery and drug stores!

3. New District Brewing Company, Northern Virginia Brewery
My sister recently moved to the DC area (woo!) and I have loved spending more time together. I also love spending time with her two adorable dogs at the Shirlington Dog Park in Northern Virginia. We love walking up and down the dog park path and then making our way over to New District Brewing Company, which basically hugs the fence.
It is a great stop to bring your dogs to (or visit sans dogs, but be ready to meet some cute faces) and grab a drink. I also love this spot because they have some deliciously flavored seltzers that they make in house!
